The name of the new program is Aprendiendo Juntos with the tagline: Cultivando Beinestar, Comunicación, Conexión
This translates in English to Learning Together: Cultivating Well-Being, Communication and Connection. Mountain Youth is excited to be partnering with long-time local interpreter, translator and social activist Pauline Araujo Agoitia to lead this new program. The goal of the program, very similar to Eat Chat Parent, is to provide educational opportunities related to behavioral health and support families and youth through tough issues. Additional goals include cultural relevancy, equity and providing resource information. If you would like to learn more about this program, or be added to our new What’s App database, please contact Pauline at voicetuvoz@gmail.com.(970)-343-4555 During this time of social distancing, we will be utilizing the What’s App platform so that we can learn together and share educational opportunities and resources. A huge shout-out goes to Eagle Valley Behavioral Health for funding this program and believing in the need for cultural relevancy and equity as it relates to behavioral health. Stay tuned for more details and don’t hesitate to reach out to Pauline for more information!
