The word Leadership is defined as the ability of an individual to influence and guide others towards a common goal or vision, often through inspiration, motivation, and strategic thinking.
Hannah Tamberino is a Senior at Eagle Valley High School and even as a youth she is a leader in every sense of the word. Many can be a leader but few can lead with compassion and empathy and most take a lifetime to develop these skills, which makes sense as her parents would say she has been leading since she was an infant in her baby play area. Hannah has showcased these skills in various parts of her life from Link Crew Exec Team, Devils Duels planning committee, volunteering with the Community Market and Boys Basketball Manager, all while playing sports herself with ladies lacrosse and golf and on The National Honor Society.

I was lucky enough to cross paths and get to know Hannah as she has been the Manager of the Boys Basketball teams at EVHS for the past 4 years. She has organized, supported and balanced the needs of coaches, administration, players and parents. In this role, some may call her “mom”, some may call her their “boss” but the parents call her a “blessing” and felt lucky to have her along with her counterpart Bella Almanza guiding this team over the years.
When you first meet Hannah, you see a radiant smile but when you get to know her you see her dedication, confidence, work ethic, organization and time management skills, creative problem solving and being prepared for anything and everything. Hannah credits these skills to her strong female role model and her best friend, her mom, Emily Tamberino.
Hannah works hard in everything she does but always tries to make time for fun. She enjoys spending her free time with friends and family, playing pickleball, golf and skiing and loves to travel and going to concerts. Family is first for Hannah which is the heart of a great leader.
Hannah will take these inherent skill she has developed over the years with her on to her next step at The University of South Carolina where she is interested in studying Exercise Science with a Masters in Athlete Training; eventually working on the sidelines for an NFL team or ultimately owning her own practice. I am confident Hannah will excel in everything she does and always do it with a smile.
